Maple Pass is an independent study app for the Canadian citizenship test. It references the publicly available Discover Canada study guide published by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC); that government publication is not owned by Maple Pass. Maple Pass's questions, explanations, study notes, and AI Tutor responses are independently written for study purposes and are not official government content. This policy explains how we handle information when you use the Maple Pass mobile app and related services.
We collect the information needed to provide the app: your account email address and account identifier, study progress and AI Tutor usage, and the messages you send to AI Tutor. If you buy optional AI Tutor credits, the app store and our purchase service process purchase and transaction information; we do not receive your full payment-card details. If advertising is displayed, the advertising provider may process device and advertising identifiers, IP address for an estimated general location, ad interactions, crash logs, and performance data in accordance with your device settings and its own privacy policy.
We use this information to authenticate your account, save your study progress, provide AI Tutor responses, enforce the daily AI Tutor limit and purchased credits, prevent abuse, provide support, and maintain and improve the service.
We use service providers to run Maple Pass, including Supabase for authentication and app data, RevenueCat and the applicable app store for purchase processing, and Google Mobile Ads when ads are displayed. These providers process information only as needed to deliver their services and under their own policies. We do not sell personal information.
We keep account and app data while your account is active or as needed to operate the service and meet legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by emailing leopi91378@gmail.com. Some transaction records may need to be retained where required by law or by the app store.
Maple Pass is not directed to children under 13. Do not create an account or submit personal information if you are under 13.
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. We may update this policy when the app or legal requirements change; the updated date above will show when it was last revised.
